Individual pre-production components are scanned and digitally evaluated by computer to check
the accuracy of the tooling and machine set-up prior to the production of the jobs. During production, technicians carefully check each step of their work with calibrated inspection
equipment and frequent references to blueprints and job routings with special notes that accompany each job. Technicians use 6,8,12,18, and 24 in. calipers, vernier and digital height
gauges and granite surface plates located strategically throughout the production facility and in the quality assurance area.
Parts are scanned and compared with CAD files for verification of fabrication accuracy. |
